DIY Beauty Treatments : Oatmeal Facial Toner

Hey everyone so this is the next part of my mini series DIY Beauty Treatments and all you will need is a handful of loose oats (like what you would make oatmeal with) and some water.Oh and btw my next mini series is nail tutorials with pics and that will be starting on thursday or friday this week.

So lets begin. The reason I am doin this with oatmel is that it has the ability to relieve itchiness, redness, dryness and minor irritations. It absorbs and removes dirt & impurities whilst exfoliating the skin gently without all the harmful chemicals (found in a lot of our skincare products). It also helps the skin to fight against free radicals because it's so abundant in anti-oxidants. Result? Smoother, clearer and brighter skin without the $$$

So what you want to do is take a handful of oats and wet them with water for about 10-15 seconds and you should end up with soft oats and when you squeeze them a milky coloured fluid should come off so you want to rub this on you face and then softly massage the oats in to your skin for about 2-3 mins and then rinse off with lukewarm water then a blast off cold water to open your pores and then pat dry and moisturise and there you go hope you enjoyed it :)
